The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have today announced they are expecting their third child, after Kensington Palace made the surprise announcement.

Both families aswell as The Queen are said to be “delighted with the news”.

However the duchess is again suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness as with her first two pregnancies

For obvious reasons she will no longer be carrying out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today.

Catherine is being cared for at Kensington Palace, the statement said.

The Duke and Duchess have one son, George, and one daughter, Charlotte, aged four and two.
